Longmen focuses on developing coal bed methane (CBM) resources in China, primarily in Shanxi province. Coal bed methane is almost pure methane extracted and produced directly from coal seams without the need to extract the coal itself. Longmen signed production Sharing Contracts (PSC) with China United Coal bed Methane Company (CUCBM) and other concession owners to explore and develop coal bed methane resources through CBM drilling and coal degasification technology.
